fertil [prose poem]

The farmer sees a worm, picks it up.
The farmer thinks the worm is insignificant and throws the worm off his land. His soil fails to improve and his land dies.
But then the worm eats itself out of spite.

And the worm continues to feed on itself...
But the farmer buys more land elsewhere.

The farmer sees more worms on the land. But this time he doesn't worry.
The worms see the farmer and start feasting on each other out of spite.

The farmer's field is well nourished.
